The Graham-Kapowsin High School Booster Club has been part of the Eagle community since 2008. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of parents, guardians, alumni, and community members, our purpose is simple: to help GK students have some of the best days of their high school journey while preparing them to soar confidently beyond the nest into whatever comes next.
We stand behind every area of GK, academics, arts, activities, and athletics. Whether it’s helping fund program needs, coordinating volunteers, or building connections with the community, everything we do is centered on making sure students feel supported, celebrated, and empowered.
At its heart, the Booster Club exists to uplift students by promoting and supporting the programs that matter most to them. We want every Eagle to feel pride in being part of this school and to experience moments, opportunities, and traditions they’ll remember long after graduation. Our work is rooted in the belief that the right support today helps students soar even higher tomorrow.
We generate financial support, connect volunteers where they’re needed, and build partnerships between staff, families, and the broader Graham community. Above all, we operate with fairness and transparency, ensuring that all GKHS-sanctioned clubs, sports, and activities are considered equitably.
Partnering with the Booster Club means gaining a team that is fully invested in the success of your program. We understand the passion, time, and effort that staff pour into students, and our goal is to come alongside you, not add to your workload, but lighten it.
We bring together the energy of families, alumni, and community members who want to help but often don’t know where to start. By connecting their support with your program’s needs, we create opportunities that elevate the student experience and make your work even more impactful.
From helping secure needed resources to organizing volunteers for major events, we offer support that is responsive, flexible, and tailored to the unique needs of each program. And because we operate as a nonprofit, we can often assist in ways that go beyond what ASB or district funding can provide.
When staff and the Booster Club work together, students benefit from stronger programs, enriched experiences, and a school environment that feels uplifting and unified. Our partnership helps create not only memorable high school moments but the confidence students need to soar beyond GK.
Throughout the year, the Booster Club raises funds and provides meaningful, hands-on support to enrich student life. This can look like helping a team travel to competition, securing equipment for a club, assisting with senior nights, or coordinating volunteers for major school events. Every contribution and every hour volunteered helps create the experiences that become the highlight reel of high school.
Beyond financial support, we are committed to building connection and community. We give families a way to be involved, encourage local businesses to invest in GK students, and create traditions that make our campus feel like home. When students see adults, staff, parents, and community members, rallying around them, they feel that support deeply. And that sense of belonging helps them step confidently into their future.
A strong support system relies on collaboration, and that’s exactly how the Booster Club and ASB operate. While our roles are different, our goals are shared.
ASB focuses on the entire student body, providing school-wide events, leadership opportunities, and community-building activities. The Booster Club focuses on the specific needs of programs, supporting athletics, arts, clubs, and activities with resources that often fall outside traditional funding.
We’re not in competition with ASB, we’re partners. When each group contributes its strengths, students receive a richer, more complete high school experience.an respond to program needs in ways not possible through ASB or district resources.
Each year, the Booster Club directs thousands of dollars into GK programs. Most recently, more than $45,000 supported equipment upgrades, competition travel, recognition events, spirit wear, and other opportunities that directly benefit students.
These contributions help create defining moments, those unforgettable high school memories that stay with students long after they graduate and help them launch confidently into what comes next.
We’re always eager to collaborate with staff, families, alumni, and community members who share our commitment to supporting GK students. Whether you want to request support, get involved, or simply learn more, we’d love to connect.
